1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using minia.art, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the service.

2. Description of Service

minia.art provides AI-powered pixel art tools. You can generate pixel art images (sprites, scenes, icons, characters, and similar output types) from text prompts. You can also upload a reference image to guide a generation.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it current.

4. Generated Content & Your Rights

You retain ownership of the prompts you submit, and you own the images you generate to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not claim rights over the artwork you generate.

Free plan: By using the Free plan, you agree to use generated images for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Using Free-plan images commercially is a breach of these terms and may result in suspension or termination of your account.

Pro plan: Generated images may be used for personal or commercial purposes, subject to applicable law and the Acceptable Use policy below.

Because outputs are produced by underlying AI models operated by third parties, we cannot guarantee that any given output is copyrightable or free from similarity to other works. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before any public or commercial use.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to create, share, or request:

  • Content sexualising minors or any form of child sexual abuse material
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that sexualises a real person without their explicit permission
  • Content that impersonates a specific real person in a misleading way, or photorealistic deepfakes designed to deceive
  • Content promoting violence, terrorism, self-harm, or illegal activity
  • Content that infringes third-party intellectual property or violates privacy, publicity, or other legal rights
  • Attempts to reverse-engineer, abuse, or circumvent rate limits, authentication, or payment systems

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy and to remove content at our discretion.

6. Plans, Credits & Billing

Each account has a monthly generation quota measured in credits. Each generation consumes 1 credit. The free plan includes 30 credits and the Pro plan includes 200 credits, renewing every month from your signup or subscription date rather than on a fixed calendar date. Unused credits do not roll over.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via our payment processor. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; we do not generally refund the current billing period, but we consider refund requests case-by-case in good faith. We may change pricing with at least 30 days’ notice to active subscribers.

7. Third-Party Models & Availability

The service relies on third-party AI providers to generate output. Availability, latency, and quality depend on those providers and may vary. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and the service is provided “as is” and “as available”.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, minia.art and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by email or via the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Sweden, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you additional rights.
