Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

You share the following with us directly:

• Your email address and any profile information you provide when creating an account
• Text prompts you submit to generate artwork
• Reference images you upload to guide a generation (optional)
• Payment details, handled directly by our payment processor — we never see your full card number

We also collect limited technical data automatically:

• Account activity such as number of generations, timestamps, and credit usage
• Basic server logs (request paths, error traces) used to diagnose problems

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the service
• Send account-related and billing communications
• Process payments for paid plans
• Investigate issues, enforce the Terms of Service, and protect users
• Improve the overall service experience

We do not train AI models on your prompts, uploads, or generated content. Generation itself is performed by third-party AI providers — see Section 5.

3. How Your Content Is Processed

When you submit a generation, your prompt (and any reference image you chose to upload) is forwarded to the third-party AI provider responsible for that generation. The resulting image is returned, stored in our object storage, and associated with your account so you can access it from your history.

Generated content is stored in your account and can be deleted at any time from the history page. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies only — for authentication (set by our authentication provider) and for theme preferences. Our payment processor may set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following processors to operate the service. Most are based in the United States or process data there; by using the service you consent to such international transfers.

• Clerk — authentication and account management (receives your email and auth identifiers)
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing (handles card details directly)
• Neon — managed Postgres database (stores account metadata, generation history, and subscription state)
• Cloudflare R2 — object storage for generated images and any reference images you upload
• Replicate — AI model host for pixel-art generation (receives prompts and any uploaded reference image)
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — application hosting, deployment, and serverless execution

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your generated content
• Opt out of non-essential communications
• Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority (for users in the EEA/UK)

7. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account data, generation history, and stored media for as long as your account is active.

You can permanently delete your account, generation history, stored media, and subscription record at any time from Settings — this takes effect immediately. If you’d rather have us do it for you, email hello@ketryon.com and we will process the request within 30 days. We may retain a minimal record of billing events where required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.

8. Children’s Privacy

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
